WHAT KUMON DID FOR THESE CHILDREN AND WHAT KUMON CAN DO FOR YOUR CHILD

JANICE LIAO, 18, was recently recognized by the Detroit Free Press and the Michigan Association of
Secondary School Principals as one of the top ten high school seniors from schools with enrollments greater
than 998. Janice began studying at Novi Kumon Center, Detroit, Michigan, in 1982, and even as a college
student, she still studies Kumon. She graduated high school in June 2000 as the class valedictorian and is
now attending the University of Michigan majoring in pre- med. She maintained a 4.0 average and scored a
1600 on her SATs. You are truly a Kumon success story, Janice!

MAKAYLA- At three years old, this bright little girl is already reading and writing sentences. She is
currently studying Level 4A Reading and is looking forward to her first day of public school.

Five years ago, ANDRE BEAUSOLEIL and his parents drove by the Denville Kumon Center, Denville,
New Jersey, and decided to drop in to see what it was about. They're glad they did because now 12 year-old
Andre is doing linear equations. "Kumon has helped Andre to move ahead in math concepts," says his
Mom, Kemi, "wheareas his school did not provide advanced studies that would allow him progress at his
own pace." Keep up the great work, Andre.

Four years ago, JAMES, 9, and sister, CHLOE, 11, both started Kumon in Nobleton, Ontario. "Kumon has
helped my children to stay focused, given them confidence, and helped them to be disciplined about doing
homework and school projects." says their mother, Jennifer.
